Be aware : How did my 2 Kidney Failed in 3 weeks

How did my 2 Kidneys Failed in 3weeks

I went abroad 2011 February 9th. Things are doin fine for almost year, I don't have any activity that keeps me busy except my work. I pass the health examination prior to acquiring of Iqama or residential certificate.

End of the month December, I have a minor cough. Coughing in the office disturbs others. So, one day I went the clinic, using my insurance , I consulted the Doctor. That was my first time visiting a Doctor here  in this country. I was ignorant of any processes whatsoever so I just complied with whatever the Doctor says.

After a while, my number was called and I went to the Doctors office for checkup. The Doctor just interviewed me, asking me some questions like how do you feel, when does this coughing started, and the Nurse took  my bp at the same time. After that he then gave me prescription 3 types of meds 1 nose drop a  1 bottle of cough syrup,. So I went to their Pharmacy and the Pharmacist gave me the meds with  instructions on how to take it.

So that afternoon, I went home take my dinner and 15min after I take the meds cough syrup and then I go to bed. I felt something bad, and later I was dizzy and vomited. I rest a while and sleep.

The next  day I felt weaker. I just took it for granted thinking maybe I am just adjusting to the cold weather. I take my breakfast and then same thing drink the syrup. 30 minutes after I felt I am loosing my strength again, and then same thing happen I felt dizzy , so I rested for an hour at work and then go on working. 'Till noon time, and evening after dinner I become much weaker after taking this syrup and vomiting again..

The Day after, I went to the Doctor again to tell him about the effects of the Syrup med that he had prescribed to me. After that checkup he then gave me another med a pack of tablets. Saying take this tab every after meal and we will observe for 3 days.

When I got home that I take my dinner first, before taking the tablets. Five minutes after taking the tablet a felt so much pain in my stomach, squeezing pain that  it makes me sweat due to so much pain. The next morning when I took the tablet, the same worst feeling of squeezing pain and sweating for about 30 min then pain goes away. Then, I took the syrup again for my cough and still that night I vomited, after a minutes the pain is gone and I then sleep.

The went back to the same Doctor again and complain. He said its been a day only let us wait and come back after a week. He then gave me an anti vomit med capsules and a pain reliever, Saying just continue with the meds and we will see after a week so I did what he said.

Because of the pain this tablet is giving  after taking it  and taking the pain reliever after it. What I did was,  I take it and then I sleep with the pain, after some time it will be gone. The next day I felt pain in my stomach after eating.... and it goes on and on for several days.

Three days of suffering I went to another Hospital and another Doctor. I could not bare the pain and the vomiting anymore. That days my body is swelling and I can't hardly walk. This other Doctor put me into an examination and blood analysis. Afterwards, he said there something wrong with you, your blood is low he said its around 7 and then he asked me about some things like vomiting, stool blood I said I have not seen any blood coming out. Then, he prescribe with tablets to increase my blood count and he said continue with your meds and in addition take this meds for anti vomit and a pain reliever.

The day after, i go to work and I was so weak I barely could not walk. My Manager told me to go to a Filipino Doctor and have my checkup there. And so I did, I went to another Hospital with a Filipino Doctor. The Doctor is a Lady Doctor, she have my blood samples and the Nurse took my bp. After about an hour and a half. Results came and she was too much worried and concern asking "why I reach to this stage that my blood is too low around 6.2 and yet I was not hospitalized". Which hospital did you go and why did they allowed to go home. She then ask for the number of my Manager and  called him and she was very worried and angry. I heard her saying " Why did you not admit this person, why did you let him go alone, his blood is too low he might fall down and he might die" he added " send someone to be with him now and admit him to a hospital his case is an emergency. I will not let him go home.

So, they send someone to be with me and we went to another big and known hospital and got me admitted. After Checking me up , the Doctors told the person attending to me that I need a blood transfusion, and I need a Dialysis because my two kidneys are failing due to too much low in blood.; Upon hearing the things Doctor have spoken I felt like I almost died, but I have no power, I cannot do anything, I was so weak and helpless. The Doctor said " we will see after further examination if it can recover...........
